The Friends of Lawrence Heritage State Park have launched a campaign to repairs display cases that are deteriorating with time. The cost of the repairs is estimated to be around $8,000 of which the State will match half of it.

“We are very close to acquiring the money that we need,” said Joe Bella, president of the Friends of Lawrence Heritage State Park. “We have been receiving contributions from local businesses and corporations to very small amounts from individuals; they all add up.”

If anyone is interested to contribute with any amount, please send it to: Friends of Lawrence Heritage State Park, One Jackson St., Lawrence, MA 01840-1613.
