IT'S ALL ABOUT RIGHT(S)
Business as Usual

Or should I say, more municipal money laundering. On January 26, 2007, a legal notice advertised in the Trib was announcing that a public hearing would be held on March 13, 2007, in reference to “move money”, two years worth (05 & 06) Community Development Block Grant Programs to fund the Arlington District clubhouse.

THE MEETING NEVER HAPPENED! Ask me if I am surprised. The meeting was to take place at the current clubhouse, 1 Broadway, after the MAN, Inc. monthly scheduled meeting.

I can tell you there were 5 cops there. Count them, 5. And as a sideline, I can tell you that when neighborhood meetings take place, the citizens are clamoring for police presence, and they are lucky if they get one representative, yet there were 5 cops at this meeting.

Weed and Seed money! You’d think with the poop hitting the fan in reference to the grant fraud, the cops would back off.

NAWWWWW! This is Methuen, where if I did not know what the soles of these boyz’s shoes looked like, I would have no clue as to who they were. And at that, there was one policeman there who I did not recognize.

The boyz are so far into the cookie jar, the only thing visible is the soles of their shoes! My sources tell me that this is going to come to a screeching halt.

I spoke with Sun He, brand-new Assistant Community Development Director. I could tell she was visibly shaken by this huge oversight. In fact, she was willing to accept full responsibility for this faux pas.

I DON’T THINK SO! I explained to Sun He that it is not going to be that easy. There is a pattern here! This is not the first time something like this has happened, when monies are being laundered! I have been screaming about this since the conception of the Methuen Assisted Suicide Living Complex. We were laundering money then.

The blame should be squarely on the head of the $90,000 Community Development Director, Karen Sawyer Faust, Billy ‘the Bridge’ Manzi’s political payoff hire.

My sources also tell me that the monies slated for the Appleyard Site have already been approved to be funneled down to the clubhouse. I received this information before the scheduled public hearing that never happened.

Freeze all This Money!
Why do we bother applying for grants that we appear to have no need for? We get them and then sneakily go behind the taxpayer’s backs and divert the money for political gain and payoffs.

Whatever happened to good old fashioned fund raising? I’ll tell you what, it is hard, very hard. I have done it. It is much easier for the taxpayer to fund a clubhouse that will service a minute population of the cities children, by diverting grants.

Similar to the taxpayers funding a footbridge that again will only service a minute portion of the population. It just so happens that one of the citizens being serviced is our mayor, Billy ‘the bridge’ Manzi.

You know loyal readers anytime now would be a good time to show your outrage. Perhaps you don’t know it, but we have got them on the ropes.

It is time to knock them out of our community so we can move on to a government that will be working for the people. A NOVEL IDEA!

COFFEE CLUTCH… I NEED YOU NOW!

Civil Service
It is now time for the Council to bring forward a resolution removing the Chief of Police position from Civil Service.

It is apparent that our very own chief yahoo and his trusty dawwg are not going to go away with their tail between their legs.

In spite of the mounting evidence against them for their bad behavior, the boyz are going to dig in their heels, plead ignorance and drag Methuen through the mud.

If the chief’s position were to be out of Civil Service, this would long be over.

No, let me rephrase that. If I were mayor, this would be long over and Methuen could be moving along representing the best interests of the citizens of Methuen. Something Billy has yet to do.

Solomon is Billy the Bridge’s long time goombah, and I think we can all see where Billy’s allegiance lies AND IT IS NOT WITH THE PEOPLE, OR ELSE HE WOULD STOP THIS INSANITY!

How can you stop something you were part of yourself? Billy ‘the Bridge’ Manzi was the longest sitting councilor as well as the longest chairman of the Methuen City Council ever.
