CLASS Inc.’s annual recognition event was held on March 30, 2006 at the Wyndham Hotel. Community partners, staff and people with disabilities who have realized important achievements during the past year, were honored.

For the past 30 years, CLASS Inc, has been dedicated to empowering people with disabilities throughout the Merrimack Valley, by providing services that promote personal choice, growth and full participation in their communities.

Individual Achievement Awards were given to Matt Bain, Kathleen Cadman, Linda Comeau, Seth Faye, Robert Gibbons, Charlie Ruiz and Tim Tobin. Beth Termini received the Employee of the Year Award and Bob Ratte was awarded with The Compassion in Action Award.

Employee Services Awards were given to Dan Burke, Tammy Pelletier, Stephanie Plouffe and Lauri Vermette for their 10 years of service, while Stephen Bragg, Steve Celi, Holly Fleury, Andrea Lacson, Wilberto Lugo, Nancy Pepin and Ramona Pichardo were recognized by their 5 years of service.

State funding alone does not allow CLASS to meet the financial demands of their services or meet the needs of the families who look to CLASS for support. Accomplishing this mission would not be possible without the help and support of community partners. This year, CLASS Inc, chose to award the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, Sovereign Bank, Frank C. Meyer Company and General Mills with the Community Partner Award.
