Siguiendo la tradición, el Puerto Rican Movement Center for
Development, Inc., celebró la tradicional visita de los Tres Reyes
Magos, llenando de niños el gimnasio de la YMCA el pasado sábado,
8 de enero, para presenciar la Natividad y recibir caramelos y
regalos de manos de los Tres Reyes Magos.
Este año, Yahaira Rosario hizo el papel de la Virgen María y
Allen Marte el de José. Por no tener un nene recién nacido,
utilizaron una muñeca en lugar del niño Jesús. Los Tres Reyes
fueron interpretados por Esteban Colón, que hizo del Rey Melchor,
Mohamed Abdul fue Baltasar y Edwin Morales hizo de Gaspar.
Además de cientos de regalos donados por los patrocinadores, La
New England Puerto Rican Alliance (NEPRA) donó 6 bicicletas para
ser rifadas, tres de varón y tres de hembra.
The Three Kings at the Y
Following the tradition, the Puerto Rican Movement Center for
Development, Inc., celebrated the traditional Three Kings day, on
Saturday, January 8th, by bringing many children to the Lawrence
YMCA to witness the Nativity and received candy and toys directly
from the Kings’ hands.
This year, Yahaira Rosario was María and Allen Marte, José and
they used a doll instead of a real baby for Jesus. As far as the
Three Kings, Esteban Colon was King Melchor; Mohamed Abdul was
Baltazar and Edwin Morales was Gaspar.
Besides hundreds of presents donated by the sponsors, The New
England Puerto Rican Alliance (NEPRA) donated 6 beautiful bicycles
to be raffled, 3 for boys and 3 for girls.
