There are times that we must bid a poignant goodbye recognizing that life must go on and good people deserve the best it has to offer. It was with sadness that Radhamés Nova’s letter was received announcing his leaving the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence in search of a better future for himself and his young family.

Radhamés was perfect as director of development at the Club because he was a product of that organization; he understood the need and conveyed them accurately to potential donors.
He spent his childhood there, becoming national runner up in 1993 for Youth of the Year, then going off to college and he was very thankful for getting a job at the Club upon his return. His heart was on every word of praise for the Boys and Girls Club’s accomplishments and everyone knew they were true.

Radhamés moved on to a bigger and better job, just like this country’s culture requires and we wish him all the best.

Your success in life is the reason why we should all support the Lawrence Boys & Girls Club.
